Omnivore - New restaurant development coming to East Lake

Last week,Fellini’s and La Fonda Latina founders Mike Nelson and Clay Harper — along with business partners Jay Martin and Nathan Bolster — announced plans to bring “multiple restaurant concepts to the corners of Second Ave. and Hosea Williams Dr.,” the site of a new commercial development coming to East Lake. Since opening the original Fellini’s on on Peachtree Street in Buckhead in 1983, Nelson and Harper’s empire currently includes seven Fellini’s locations, five La Fondas, and two Greater Good BBQs in the Atlanta area.

According to the release:

Construction will begin over the next couple months to convert the old gas station on the Northwest corner into The Greater Good BBQ, a fast-casual family-friendly restaurant. On the Southeast corner, they will modify the existing building for two new restaurant concepts with outdoor seating and add a third new small restaurant.
