Argha Noah - 350 Memorial Drive S.E. Atlanta, GA 30312 8 p.m.

Artist-run civic engagement platform Argha Noah has gained a reputation around town for turning vacant buildings into immersive showcases for local art. The showcases are meant to serve local residents not tourists and developers. And the organization’s latest event, Come to Dinner, promises an evening jam-packed with not only art, but excellent eats and drinks as well. Guests will arrive at the abandoned Harp Transmission facility to bites prepared by Mike and Shyretha Sheats of the Plate Sale using local, seasonal ingredients with cocktail pairings. The evening also includes live music from DJ Jay Simmons, a poetry reading led by Nicholas Goodly, art editor of the Columbia Journal Online and writing editor of Wussy magazine, and an art installation by artist and scientist Bojana Ginn’s light and fiber installation.
