Country Club of Roswell Sept. 18, 2017, 8:30 a.m. Marlow’s Tavern and Sterling Spoon Company Host 19th Annual Golf Classic John C. Metz, executive chef, CEO, and co-founder of Marlow’s Tavern invites guests to golf for a good cause. A day of friendly competition on the beautiful golf course at the Country Club of Roswell will benefit Special Olympics Georgia. Atlanta History Center Sept. 22, 2017, 6 p.m. Back on the Farm Celebrating its 5th year at the Atlanta History Center, Back on the Farm is one of the community’s favorite fall events. Atlanta History Center Sept. 23, 2017, 10:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Fall Folklife Festival Atlanta History Center’s Fall Folklife Festival will serve up a variety of Southern cultural expression through food, folk art, Americana music and more. Highlights of the day include a cooking demonstration by famed culinary historian Michael Twitty in the Smith Farm Kitchen, hot dogs from Nerd Dawgs Hot Dog Cart and pottery-making classes. Historic Fourth Ward Park Sept. 23, 2017, 1-8 p.m. 5th Annual Atlanta Cheese Fest Kroger, Murray’s Cheese and La Bonne Vie are partnering up to bring back the Atlanta Cheese Fest for the fifth year running.
