The Shops at Buckhead July 14, 2017, 4 p.m. Waiter’s Race ATL For the first time, the Industry Fund is hosting their version of this century-old French race. Representatives from Atlanta’s food service will walk with a server’s tray in one hand topped with a glass of water, a glass of wine and a split of champagne. Then, the race is on. Registration is $25. The public is encouraged to watch the race and attend a free afterparty hosted by Le Bilboquet. Event proceeds will benefit the Giving Kitchen. Details

Urban Foodie Feed Store July 14, 2017, 5 p.m. to July 15, 2017, 9 p.m. Backyard PARTY 2017! The two-year anniversary party for this College Park restaurant includes free food and beer, wine and drink specials. There will also be a raffle with prizes. Proceeds go to the Giving Kitchen. Details

Diesel Filling Station July 14, 2017, 7-11 p.m. Crawl of Thrones This Game of Thrones themed pub crawl starts at Diesel Filling Station in Virginia-Highland and continues to Limerick Junction, Dark Horse Tavern, Hand in Hand Pub and Neighbor’s Pub, which will each have a special shot inspired by the show. F&B Atlanta July 14, 2017, 11:30 a.m.-10 p.m. Bastille Day This celebration will feature a three-course French prix fixe menu with bacon and wild mushroom crepe, bouillabaisse seafood stew and profiterole pastries with ice cream for dessert. South City Kitchen - Vinings July 14, 2017, 5 p.m. to July 22, 2017, 10:30 p.m. Tomato Jam at South City Kitchen Vinings The new annual Tomato Jam menu includes a variety of tomato-based appetizers and dishes from executive chef Nathan McGrath. Appetizers include tomato bisque, Heirloom tomatoes, cured salmon, seared scallops, tomato pie and more. Entrees include seafood stew, chuck eye steak, pan seared cobia, rolled beet dumplings and pan seared duck breast, all with tomato-based dressings and sides. Details

La Tavola Trattoria July 12, 2017, 5 p.m. to July 22, 2017, 10:30 p.m. Tomato Feast at La Tavola Trattoria Executive chef Brian Moll has prepared tomato-centric dishes for a special Tomato Fest menu. Appetizers include farro salad, veal sweetbreads, beef mortadella and more dishes with tomato sides. City Winery July 15, 2017, 7-9 p.m. Dine Like a Lannister The Ponce City Market City Winery is transforming into a banquet hall inspired by Game of Thrones, complete with house banners, candlelight and music from the series. The day before the season seven premiere, fans of the show can dress up in costume and attend this medieval feast. The meal will include historical and fantasy-inspired dishes such as beef roasted with leeks, honeyed chicken, baked apples, roasted pig and more. All attendees will leave with a souvenir goblet, and the guest who arrives in the most impressive costume will be awarded two free tickets to any non-sold out show at City Winery and a $100 gift certificate for future visits. The 9th annual benefit festival offers samples from Atlanta chef Ford Fry and more than 75 other chefs and mixologists, all made from locally-grown organic tomatoes.
