Put some spots on! Today, July 11, is Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-fil-As across the country. All you need to do is wear your best “cow attire” to get a free entree of your choice. Offer runs until 7 p.m. Mooooooo.

There is a new place to get your gin and juice... in frozen form. Suga & Ice has opened at 3095 Peachtree Industrial Blvd. in Duluth. The “luxury ice cream” shop serves both alcohol-infused and non-alcoholic ice cream in a cup or a house-made waffle cone. We are particularly intrigued by the Whiskey Luck Charm and Bourbon with Candied Bacon, perhaps as an ice cream sandwich.

Atlanta institution The Rusty Nail (2900 Buford Highway N.E.) celebrates its 43rd anniversary on Fri., July 14. 74-cent Miller Lite drafts commemorate the restaurant’s debut back in 1974. There will also be wings and hot dog specials all day.

Wahlburgers, the Boston-based franchise founded by actors Donnie and Mark Wahlberg and chef Paul Wahlberg is now open at the Battery at Suntrust Park (455 Legends Place SE). Serving more than burgers, the chain’s menu includes sandwiches (mmm sloppy Joe), salads, chili, mac and cheese, adult frappes, and a signature IPA called the Wahlbrewski.

Bowl Lab, a quick-serve concept serving Hawaiian poke bowls and Brazilian acai bowls, is having a grand opening this Thursday after a soft opening today. Bowl Lab is located in Vinings Retail Center on Vinings Slope.

We are getting seriously poke-d in Atlanta. Kiri, the fast casual Japanese concept in Midtown Promenade shopping center (931 Monroe Ave.) has closed and will soon be replaced by Pok̩ City. The create-your-own poke bowls concept opened its first location in Johns Creek earlier this year.

Whiskey Blue, the rooftop bar in Buckhead’s W Hotel, has a pretty neat addition to August’s menu. Grapes that are soaked in Prosecco and vodka, coated in sugar, and frozen are $4 a bowl. Nibble on them as a snack or add as a cooler that won’t water down your cocktail. Icy sweetness.

It’s Fry-Day at Atlanta locations of Farm Burger! Get a free order of hand cut fries when you order a meal between 5 and 6 p.m. this Friday, July 14. They are pretty fabulous dipped in a salted caramel milkshake.

Atlanta-based HoneyBaked Ham wants you to know it has more to offer than just, well, ham. On “Friday Trydays” during the summer, Honeybaked associates will give out free samples of the company’s products from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Atlanta area locations.
