Join us Saturday, September 17 from 12:00-5:00pm to celebrate 6 years since the opening of ASW Distillery at our Armour Dr distillery location. The event will feature catered BBQ, cocktails and tastings, and the last barrel in our entire warehouse of one of the first spirits we ever distilled, Armour & Oak Apple Brandy – aged to absolute perfection and signed by Master Distiller Justin Manglitz!

Since it will be a gameday, we’ll be showing the UGA game at 12 noon as well! We will be playing the broadcast over the sound system and have our Investor’s Room Lounge open for another viewing option. We will have UGA themed cocktails and be giving away a very special bottle of the Glory Glory: National Champion Fiddler GA Heartwood (Season Kickoff Release)!

QMoses BBQ will be catering for the event as well! Choose from two plate options, both of which include sides of mac & cheese and world famous baked beans, plus:

Smoked Wings Plate or
Pulled Chopped Pork Plate

There will be two separate ticket options for the different plate options.

This 6-Year Anniversary celebration will include:

Token for a tasting pour of any of our spirtis
Armour & Oak Apple Brandy bottle release, featuring our absolute last barrel of Armour & Oak Apple Brandy, distilled in 2018 and featuring all the apple-and-cinnamon goodness you’d hope for
Tours with looks at our barrels, fermentation process, and Scottish-style double copper pot stills
Option to add-on a bottle of Armour & Oak Apple Brandy or Winterville Gin to your ticket at checkout

More About the Last Barrel of Armour & Oak Apple Brandy

We first released Armour & Oak Apple Brandy in January 2017, as the 3rd product in our portfolio (close on the heels of Fiddler Bourbon and Resurgens Rye). Distilled from 100% north Georgia apple juice – Mercier Orchards, to be precise – this last barrel was distilled in late 2018 and is at its absolute apex, so we figured what better way to celebrate it than as part of our 199 Armour Drive location’s 6 Year Anniversary.

This one will be bottled at Cask Strength (~113 proof), and drinks like a delightful French Calvados, for those familiar with that famous spirit, with notes of apple, cinnamon, clove, and caramel, among many other delicious flavors. All bottles will be signed by the maestro himself, Master Distiller Justin Manglitz.
